Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Facilities Manager to oversee a significant industrial manufacturing facility in California. This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability of equipment and infrastructure while managing an upcoming expansion. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in industrial facilities management and a proven track record of leading major buildouts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own equipment reliability and infrastructure across a 40K+ sq. ft. industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Lead the 15K sq. ft. expansion from scoping through commissioning, ensuring it is completed on time, on budget, and without halting production.
  • Manage contractors, trades, and vendors through complex builds and permitting processes.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the facility, adhering to Cal/OSHA, BAAQMD, NFPA, stormwater, and fire regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations on space planning and buildout design using AutoCAD.
  • Develop systems such as PM programs, documentation, and vendor accountability to support scalable growth in a fast-growing company.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years in industrial facilities management: Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations is required; commercial/office backgrounds will not be considered.
  • Proven experience in owning a major industrial buildout from scope through commissioning, ideally while maintaining ongoing production.
  • Mechanically strong and technically fluent in areas such as compressed air, dust collection, electrical, HVAC, and finishing equipment.
  • AutoCAD proficient at an architectural level: capable of reading, marking up, and producing layout drawings.
  • Familiarity with Bay Area permitting, able to navigate BAAQMD, city building permits, or NFPA 33 independently.
  • Demonstrated track record across multiple organizations, emphasizing a breadth of environments.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.

Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $185,000 annually, with the opportunity to supervise and lead a dynamic team.

Additional Details

The maximum pay for this supervisor position is $80 per hour, with a minimum pay of $72 per hour.
